The Personal Salon Bonding Lamp has been designed to quickly and effectively bond (harden & adhere) the product to your nails. A 6-watt, fluorescent bulb emits about the same low UV light your fingernails would receive outside on a sunny day for the same length of time, but without the harmful higher frequency UV light emitted by the sun. The Bonding Lamp operates on regular household current, is U.L. approved and all components are U.L., E.T.L. and C.S.A. certified. For most applications, the product will completely bond in 2-3 minutes, depending on factors of coating thickness, humidity, etc.
